Christmas in Denia

Dénia is ready for Christmas. Christmas activities will start on December 5th with the lighting of the city streets. On that day, Dénia will be filled with lights, markets, music, dance, theatre, workshops, Christmas tree, and other activities designed for all ages, programmed by the different councillors of the Town Hall, to celebrate the Christmas festivities until the 7th of January 2024. Christmas Market On 6 December the Christmas Market will be inaugurated, which will be located between the Plaça del Consell, the Racó de la Infanta Margarita and the Plaça de la Constitució. The Christmas Market, organised by the Department of Commerce, will be open from 10.00 to 14.00 hours and from 17.00 to 21.00 hours, until 10 December. There will be different stalls from local traders, where you can find a wide variety of handmade items, gifts and decorations, as well as typical Christmas food products such as nougat, chocolates, marzipan and polvorones. Children will also be able to enjoy various Christmas activities such as storytelling, puppets, children’s workshops and Christmas elves, among others. From the 11th to the 15th of December, the popular Dénia shop window display competition will be held, in which up to 32 establishments will participate. Voting by the public for the Best Shop Window Award will take place on the Dénia Town Hall Facebook page (@ajuntamentdenia). The awarding of the
